Common questions about Super PE Online

These FAQs cover how the Free, Plus and Ultra tiers work, who Super PE Online is for, and what happens when you upgrade. For live prices, always check the Pricing section.

What is Super PE Online?

Super PE Online (SPO) is an online revision platform for GCSE, A-Level and BTEC PE. It combines exam-board-specific worksheets, specimen papers, mark schemes, exam technique help and tutorial videos in one place, so students and teachers don’t have to hunt for reliable PE resources across the internet.

Who is SPO designed for?

SPO is built for:

• Students in Years 9-13 taking GCSE, A-Level or BTEC Sport/PE
• College students on sports courses who want clear notes and exam practice
• PE teachers and departments who need high-quality class and homework resources

What’s the difference between Free, SPO Plus and SPO Ultra?

Free – Limited access to videos and resources each week, plus community access. Great for trying SPO and topping up your existing revision.

SPO Plus – Full access to all SPO videos and student resources for one student (or one teacher). This includes topic-broken worksheets, practice papers, mark schemes and revision tools.

SPO Ultra – Everything in SPO Plus, plus access to SPO Shop items that are marked as free or discounted for Ultra members. This is designed for power-users and departments that want “everything in one bundle”.

Does the Free tier ever expire?

No – the Free tier does not expire. However, there is a cap on how many videos/resources you can access each week. If you hit that cap, upgrading to SPO Plus or Ultra will remove those limits.

How does billing work for SPO Plus and SPO Ultra?

You can choose between monthly or yearly billing. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider, and you’ll receive a confirmation email when your membership is active.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes. You can cancel any time via your payment portal. Your SPO Plus/Ultra access will stay active until the end of your current paid period, and then your account will fall back to the Free tier.

What happens if I want to change between monthly and yearly?

If you want to switch, you can cancel your current plan at the end of its billing period and then start a new plan (monthly or yearly) from the Pricing section on the homepage. Your learning progress on SPO is not affected by changing plan.

Can multiple students share one SPO login?

No. Each account is for one student (or one teacher) only. Sharing logins reduces the quality of the data and support we can provide, and can affect performance for everyone. Departments that need access for multiple students should use a school/department licence.

How do school and department licences work?

School/department licences give SPO Ultra-style access to a set number of students in your PE department for one year. Pricing is based on a base number of students, with the option to add extra seats in small blocks.

To start a department licence, use the calculator and “Request invoice” button in the Schools section or email superpeonline@gmail.com with your student numbers and school details.

Which exam boards are covered?

SPO currently focuses on the main UK PE exam boards:

• GCSE: Edexcel, AQA, OCR
• A-Level: Edexcel, AQA, OCR
• BTEC Sport (Pearson), plus other applied sports courses where content overlaps

Resources are labelled by exam board so you can quickly find the ones that match your specification.

Are the resources mapped to the latest specifications?

Yes. Resources are created and updated with the current specifications in mind. However, we always recommend that students and teachers keep an eye on their official exam-board specification and use SPO alongside that document.

How often are resources and videos updated?

New resources are added in waves across the academic year, with heavier updates around mock exam seasons and the build-up to summer exams. Feedback from students and teachers is used to decide which topics and boards are prioritised.

Is tutoring included in my membership?

No – 1-to-1 and small-group tutoring are separate services. Your SPO membership gives you access to resources and videos. If you want individual support, use the tutoring enquiry button on the homepage or email superpeonline@gmail.com.

What devices can I use to access SPO?

SPO is built to work on modern phones, tablets, laptops and desktops using a recent browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox). If something looks off on your device, try updating your browser or contacting us with a screenshot.

I’ve upgraded but still see “Free” limits. What should I do?

First, try refreshing the page or closing and reopening your browser. If you still see Free-tier limits after a successful payment, contact us at superpeonline@gmail.com with the email you used to pay and we’ll sort it.
